Malaysian restaurants and hawker stalls are forced to choose between expensive POS systems with monthly fees they can't afford, or Android tablets running slow web-based systems that crash under pressure. Neither option works well offline. Kitchen orders get confused, DuitNow QR payments don't integrate, and LHDN e-Invoice compliance adds another layer of complexity most operators can't manage.

What We Built

Pitis is a native iOS POS application built specifically for Malaysian food service businesses. It handles dine-in and takeaway orders, works completely offline when the internet drops, sends orders to a Kitchen Display System in real time, accepts DuitNow QR, cash, and card payments, supports Bluetooth thermal receipt printers, and generates LHDN e-Invoice compliant receipts. Staff management, shift reconciliation, and daily/weekly/monthly analytics are all built in.
