The Problem Before We Stepped In

Home physiotherapy already exists in Malaysia. It is just hard to arrange, hard to price and hard to trust. Finding a physiotherapist who will travel means asking around; the cost is a phone negotiation that can change at the door; and there is no way for a patient to check that the person arriving is registered, qualified and carrying indemnity insurance. For someone recovering from surgery or living with limited mobility, the commute to a clinic is itself the hardest part of the treatment — which is exactly the group least able to chase all of that down.

What We Built

RecoveryGo is a two-sided marketplace with an app for each side. A patient picks the type of physiotherapy, the session length and the place, adds notes or photos so the physio arrives prepared, and books now or schedules ahead. The request goes to verified physiotherapists nearby and the first to accept is assigned, with the patient seeing who is coming before they set off. Trust is built into the mechanics rather than promised: every physiotherapist's registration, qualifications and indemnity insurance are manually approved before they can take a booking, the exact price is calculated from session length and distance and shown before confirming, and payment is held from booking and released only once the session is marked complete — if nobody accepts, the hold is released automatically. During the visit there is live tracking, an ID check at the door, in-app chat that never exchanges personal numbers, and an SOS. Both sides rate each other. For physiotherapists it is work without clinic overheads: go online when free, accept what fits the route, decline without penalty, and get paid weekly.
